Management Team
P. Richard Lunsford
President & CEO Anulex Technologies
Rich Lunsford was appointed President and CEO of Anulex Technologies in December of 2008. Rich has more than 25 years of leadership experience in the medical device field. From October of 2007 to December of 2008, he served as President of Commercial Operations at ev3, Inc., where he led the commercial operations for ev3’s domestic business. During the years of 2001 – 2007, Rich was the President and CEO of Acorn Cardiovascular, Inc. From February 1996 – December 2001, Rich held the several positions at Spinetech; President from April 1999 – December 2001. Other positions he held were National Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Rich has also held management positions with Scimed Life Systems/Boston Scientific Corporation and Allergan Medical Optics. He has extensive sales and marketing experience in both domestic and international medical device markets. Rich currently serves on the Board of Directors at Acorn Cardiovascular Inc. and Holy Family Catholic High School. Rich holds a Bachelor of Science degree in multinational business operations from Florida State University.

David M. Noel
Vice President of Finance & CFO
David M. Noel was appointed Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Anulex Technologies, Inc. in February 2009. Prior to joining Anulex, David served in a similar role at Lifecore Biomedical, Inc. from March 2004 to January 2009 and was Controller from February 2002 to March 2004. Lifecore Biomedical, Inc. is a privately held company which designed and marketed dental implants and manufactures hyaluronan and medical devices based on hyaluronan for use in various surgical markets. From 1996 to 2001, David was Controller of Nilfisk-Advance, Inc., a manufacturer of floor maintenance equipment. David holds a B.A. degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota – Duluth and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive status).
Matt Meyer
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Matt Meyer was appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing, in March 2009. Previously, he served as Vice President of Marketing for KFx Medical, a privately held sports medicine device company. Prior to this position, Matt served for over ten years, in a variety of senior marketing and sales positions, with Medtronic Spinal and Biologics. At Medtronic, he had marketing responsibility for products ranging from Infuse Bone Graft to core spinal implants. Matt began his career in medical device, as a territory sales representative, with DePuy Motech, a joint venture between DePuy and Biedermann Motech. From 1989 to 1996, Matt served, as an officer, in the US Army with Infantry and Special Forces units.
Tim Miller
Vice President of Regulatory & Clinical Affairs
Tim Miller joined Anulex in February 2004 as Vice President of Regulatory and Clinical Affairs. Tim has more than 15 years experience in the medical device industry. From 2000 to 2004, he served in various management positions at Centerpulse Spine-Tech including Director of Regulatory and Clinical Affairs. From 1991 to 2000, he worked in the Cardiac Surgery and Cardiac Rhythm Management divisions of Medtronic. Tim received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Steven Griffith
Vice President of Scientific Affairs
Dr. Steven Griffith joined Anulex Technologies as the Vice President of Scientific Affairs in March 2005 after consulting with the company as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board beginning in 2002. He has more than 25 years of research experience in the medical device industry with the last 17 years specifically in spinal surgery devices. He has held various executive management positions at Spine-Tech, SulzerMedica, and Centerpulse, and most recently was the Vice President/CSO at Zimmer Spine, responsible for Global Spine Research. He has served as the Director of R&D at the Texas Back Institute Research Foundation in Dallas TX. He has been awarded several patents and his contributions to the scientific and medical community include more than 25 papers/book chapters, nearly 100 conference presentations, and he’s co-authored two books on the development and testing of innovative spinal devices. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Grace College and a Master of Science degree from Ball State University. His PhD in physiology and biophysics is from the Indiana University Medical Center.

Mary Fautsch
Director of Health Economics & Reimbursement
Mary Fautsch joined Anulex in April 2009 as Director of Health Economics and Reimbursement. Mary has extensive experience in the medical device industry. Prior to joining Anulex, Mary served over 14 years in a variety of senior management positions within the Neurological Division of Medtronic including Sr. Director, Health Economics. Mary has also worked for a major hospital system, Fairview Hospital and Healthcare System, as the Director of Managed Care Services. In addition, she has extensive experience in hospital and clinic business operations. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science degree (RN) in Nursing from the University of Minnesota and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of St. Thomas.
Vic Fabano
Vice President of Operations & Quality
Vic Fabano has served as the Vice President of Operations and Quality since joining Anulex in January 2008. Prior to joining Anulex, Vic served as Vice President of Operations and Quality at Transoma Medical from 2000 – 2008. Vic entered the medical device industry when he worked for Boston Scientific/SciMed from 1992 - 1998. He has over seventeen years of experience in the medical device industry with the last eleven years serving in an Executive capacity in charge of Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and Product Development. Vic holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota.
Ishmael Bentley
Director of Research & Development
Ishmael Bentley joined Anulex in May 2004 and served in engineering and project management positions until 2009. In January 2009 he was appointed Director of Research and Development. Prior to joining Anulex, Ishmael was an engineer for Zimmer Spine. He entered the medical device industry after graduating with a Masters of Science degree in Bioengineering from Clemson University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Morehead State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
